Romanian Hotel Industry Federation<\/strong>\u00a0announces the change of the President and composition of the Board of Directors, as well as the Censors Committee, within the\u00a0General Assembly of members on 31.03.2023<\/strong>On this occasion,\u00a0the new president<\/strong>\u00a0The chosen one is the lady.\u00a0Simona Constantinescu,<\/strong>\u00a0General Manager of Ana Hotels. Ms. Constantinescu succeeds Mr.\u00a0Calin ILE<\/strong>\u00a0who has held this position for more than 7 years, since December 2015 and who will take over the position of\u00a0Honorary President\u00a0<\/strong>of FIHR \u2013 Federation of the Hotel Industry of Romania.<\/p>\n

According to the cited source, Ms. Constantinescu previously held the position of Vice President of FIHR, coordinating the working group that dealt with specific measures for the workforce (technical unemployment, support for seasonal workers, Kurzarbeit\/flexible schedule\/Non-EU personnel regulations). Together with the similar working group within the Concordia confederation, of which FIHR is a part, she negotiated and supported the development of the necessary legislative framework for financial support by the state, through the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Economy and subsequently the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism and the subordinate structures, to businesses affected by the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201e"\u201eIt is a responsibility and a duty of honor to contribute to improving the business environment in which the Romanian hotel industry operates. I hope that we will rise to the challenges we will have to solve, together with the other members of the Steering Committee.<\/em>", declared Simona Constantinescu, the new FIHR President.<\/p>\n
