Romanian Hotel Industry Federation announces the change of the President and composition of the Board of Directors, as well as the Censors Committee, within the General Assembly of members on 31.03.2023On this occasion, the new president The chosen one is the lady. Simona Constantinescu, General Manager of Ana Hotels. Ms. Constantinescu succeeds Mr. Calin ILE who has held this position for more than 7 years, since December 2015 and who will take over the position of Honorary President of FIHR – Federation of the Hotel Industry of Romania.
According to the cited source, Ms. Constantinescu previously held the position of Vice President of FIHR, coordinating the working group that dealt with specific measures for the workforce (technical unemployment, support for seasonal workers, Kurzarbeit/flexible schedule/Non-EU personnel regulations). Together with the similar working group within the Concordia confederation, of which FIHR is a part, she negotiated and supported the development of the necessary legislative framework for financial support by the state, through the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Economy and subsequently the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism and the subordinate structures, to businesses affected by the pandemic.
