We all carry a part of Romania with us, with history and legendary landscapes, with beautiful stories from childhood, dear places and wonderful people. Romania, its places and its people deserve to be promoted.

The Federation of the Hotel Industry of Romania (FIHR) launches the promotional campaign on the occasion of National Day “Romania in my heart”.

"Romania in my heart is a project started from emotion and frustration, from love and revolt, from ambition and involvement. The emotion given every time we hear someone speaking nicely about Romania and fortunately there are more and more foreigners and Romanians alike who do this. From the frustration generated by the fact that this beautiful country with wonderful people is not known in the world as it deserves. From the love of those who never forget what Romania means to us. From the revolt we have when some unjustly slander this country. From the ambition that we can be much higher in the world because we have what it takes. And from the involvement of those who know that this cause deserves and must be supported with concrete actions." stated Călin Ile, President of the Romanian Hotel Industry Federation

The tourism promotion project is intended to present and promote the country's unique destinations, which are addressed to all categories of tourists, for numerous segments such as: family tourism, adventure tourism, ecumenical tourism, spa or festival tourism.

Romania encompasses complete options in terms of types of tourism, each with its own story, but also with the stories of the people who visit these places. Together we can write the future of Romanian tourism and its image, telling these stories further.

The project is carried out by a team of 6 volunteers, FIHR members, with considerable experience in tourism, who have tirelessly dedicated themselves to this project in the hope that some Romanian natural, historical or cultural jewels will become known to the general public.

"Romania in my heart is about each of us, about authentic Romania, the joy of childhood, history and art, the Romanian village, local gastronomy, vineyards, faith, the flora and fauna of Romania, in a word, it is about everything that unites us. We want through this campaign to revitalize the image of Romania in our souls, to be proud that we have a wonderful country, which we propose to discover together. Together we are now trying to rediscover who we are and what our roots are. Tourism makes this journey one of the most appropriate ways to understand Romania in all its forms, Romania in our hearts! We need you more than ever to be with us, to be with each other and to open this path of Romanian tourism to our souls and to the souls of those who will visit our country. We thank the ambassadors of this campaign for their involvement and passion for this project, who help us carry the message forward." mentions Andreea Gheorghiu, Project Coordinator – member of the FIHR Steering Committee

With the launch of the campaign, the website will also be available. romaniaininimaemae.ro, where each category of tourism from each area of the country can be found and where visitors can find out what they can discover in the areas they have chosen to visit or find a holiday destination they have never even thought of before. Also on December 1, the social media pages will be launched Romania in my heart, respectively FacebookInstagram and LinkedIn.

With the help of local promotion associations, we can show tourists that the destination they have chosen can offer them, in addition to a wonderful landscape and a spectacular wine vineyard, a place where crafts are sacredly preserved or perhaps an unexpected adventure. We want them to use these places when they discover them. # PeaceInMyHeart so that all travelers can enjoy their discovery.
