The Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism together with the General Secretariat of the Government implemented the project "Analysis, streamlining and updating of the legal framework in the field of tourism", co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Administrative Capacity Operational Program 2014-2020, SIPOCA code 392 / MySMIS code 116156.
One of the objectives and results of the project consisted in carrying out a diagnosis and comparative analysis of the regulatory framework in force affecting the tourism sector, by identifying redundancies and anachronisms, simplifying, updating and systematizing the active legislative fund of the related legislation. External experts employed in the project carried out an exhaustive analysis of national regulations and a comparative study of European systems of legislation and governance in the tourism sector.
