FIHR becomes a Partner of the Cities of Tomorrow event for the first time – a platform dedicated to sustainable urban development in Romania, with the objective of improving the quality of life and encouraging the development of sustainable, modern and resilient communities.
The event facilitates the exchange of know-how and examples of good practices and creates a structured framework for dialogue between public administration, the private sector and civil society, to discuss current challenges and identify concrete solutions and opportunities for collaboration.
The structure of the event is as follows:
- April 21-23, 2026: online roundtables on topics such as energy, mobility, urban regeneration, circular economy, tourism, lifestyle & culture;
- April 28, 2026: the main conference in Bucharest – an exclusive platform for dialogue between the business community, architects, urban planners, developers and public administration;
- April 29, 2026: day dedicated to visits to projects and companies, to illustrate concrete examples of urban transformation and investments.
This year's edition, built around the theme Urban Renaissance – Sustainable Urban Makeover through Green & Smart Infrastructure –, puts smart urban transformation, city regeneration, process digitalization and the role of data in effective urban planning at the center of the discussion.
