As part of the Food Service & Hospitality Expo 2025 event, FIHR invites you to participate in the Workshop Reducing Food and Packaging Waste in Hotels: A Practical Guide to Implementing Sustainable Strategies, Monday, November 10, 1:30 p.m.

In the context of increasing sustainability concerns and the need to reduce environmental impact, the hotel industry faces significant challenges in terms of managing food waste and packaging. The workshop organized by FIHR provides a platform for discussion and exchange of experience between leaders in the hotel industry, waste management experts and representatives of industry associations.
The panel will explore concrete and innovative strategies to minimize food waste at all stages, from procurement and storage, to preparation and serving, as well as ways to reduce packaging use and optimize recycling processes. The ultimate goal is to provide a practical guide for hoteliers, allowing them to successfully implement sustainable strategies, reduce operational costs and contribute to protecting the environment.
